Spring Cleaning! |
| Well it's already the middle of April and even though I've been wishing for green since February it is now finally starting to look a little like spring!Unfortunately with spring comes the cleaning (It feels like I've just put away the Christmas decorations). A big part of my cleaning takes place first in my shed, then my garden and lastly the house. |
C'mon In......
Welcome! As you can see I have my work cut out for me. My Mom Cave is loaded with winter storage. The deck box, patio furniture, hose wheel and fire pit in the corner,
my turd filled shelves and table....
and the loft mouse living quarters complete with tomato cages and lounge above.
Hmmm, where do you start?
It's not very often the Farmer/Warden gets a honey-do list from me but yesterday with it being about 60 degrees plus i may have rattled off a few small demands.
It went a little something like this:
please empty the two mouse traps, can I have my hose hooked back up, my tiller probably needs and oil change, can you bring home some fertilizer and when do I get the Gator back?
He of coarse sensibly replied sure and that I might be getting ahead of myself. He also has a HUGE 'get er' done' list of his own this time of year because hopefully soon
he'll be busy as hell.
So for now I'll take out the patio furniture and the rest in that corner so the rain from the next couple of days will get it all rinsed off for me. Give it all a good sweep and maybe a power wash. ( Guess i need to ask him to get that for me too, maybe on the weekend.;)
So in the mean time, even though us girls are ready to go, I'm headed to Lowe's after lunch to pick up some new gloves and clippers and who knows what else I might find.
